Meet your Trainer

Hello, my name is Brandon, and I am a personal trainer certified by the BC Recreation and Parks Association (BCRPA). I was born and raised in the small town of Ladner, BC and currently reside in Richmond. When I’m not at the gym, you may catch me at various coffee shops with my head buried in a book—always non-fiction!

I have been active from a very young age, participating in youth sports and playing basketball and volleyball throughout high school. I was one of the last generations who spent summers playing outside from sunrise to sunset, and I wouldn’t have wanted it any other way.

I began taking fitness seriously in 2010 when I was introduced to P90X. If you’re not familiar, this was a revolutionary 90-day home fitness program created by Tony Horton and produced by Beachbody. I loved the convenience of exercising at home—no travel, no gym fees, no crowds—just fantastic results with a few pieces of equipment. After a couple rounds of P90X and other fitness programs, I was in the best shape of my life.

As we all know, life has its ups and downs, and so did my weight. Like many others, I struggled to build motivation to exercise, had a difficult relationship with food, and lacked confidence. These were issues that Tony Horton, the guy on my TV yelling at me to do more push-ups, couldn’t help me with.
